Kenta Cobayashi
Majored in modern art at university, the artist emp-loys photography and video art to demonstrate a dis-torted virtual world by demolishing the boundaries between the real and the digital. His ingenious skills in visual aesthetics and digital manipulation enable him to process original images and express them co-lorfully. He investigates areas of technology, history, grand cityscape, fashion, and people to invent images that define eras. He held exhibitions in museums and galleries worldwide and collaborated with fashion brands such as PUGMENT, Dunhill, and Louis Vuitton.
대학에서 현대 미술을 전공했으며, 현실과 디지털 환상의 경계를 허물며 왜곡된 가상 세계를 사진과 비디오 작업으로 표현하는 작업을 하고 있다. 자신만의 독특 한 시각적 미학과 디지털 조작 기술을 사용해 원본 이미지를 가공하며 다채로운 표현력을 보여준다. 기술, 역사, 대도시의 풍경, 패션, 인물 등을 탐구하며 시대 를 정의하는 이미지를 만들어간다. 국제 박물관과 갤러리, 그리고 PUGMENT, dunhill 및 Louis Vuitton과 같은 패션 브랜드와의 협업을 통해 다양한 매체로 작품을 전개하고 있다.
