Jihyoung Han

Working as a painter, digital painter, and model, Han collects memes, fads, and digital images generated online to present new visuals and artistic visions. Fashionable and cute, atypical and graphic, Han’s work creates anamorphic body images. The artist made waves after her personal image, styling, and work went viral through Pinterest and fashion-oriented social media. Since 2020, she has been gaining more public recognition as an artist through a number of exhibitions.

회화, 디지털 페인팅, 모델 등으로 활동하는 그는 온라인상에서 생성되는 수 많은 밈, 유행, 디지털 이미지들을 수집 · 채집하며 새로운 비주얼과 비전을 보여주고 있다. 패셔너블하고 귀엽고, 비정형적이며 그래픽한 그의 작업은 ‘아나모픽적 신 체 이미지'를 만들어 내고 있다. 핀터레스트, 패션 소셜미디어를 통해 작가 개인 의 이미지, 스타일링, 작업 등이 바이럴되면서 관심을 받았다. 2020년 이후 활 발한 전시 활동을 통해 미술 작가로의 대중적 인지도를 얻어가는 중이다.
