Axl Le

Based in Oslo, Norway, Axl Le is a digital artist and film director who creates CG films and artworks using a variety of digital media. His work explores the rela- tionship between nature and humans, technology and society, and the present and future. In 2018 and 2019, he began to make a name for himself with the Kiyomi Kobayashi series, a trilogy of films in the form of mo- vie trailers. Since then, he has released a total of five short films exploring nature, death, and labor issues, garnering global attention for their insights on rela- tionships, strange and humorous sequences, as well as high-quality graphic arts and CG techniques. Most recently, he turned heads after releasing New World, New Meta (2023), a collaboration with Korean actor Lee Min-ho.

디지털 아티스트이자 영화감독. 노르웨이 오슬로를 베이스로 CG 영상 제작 및 다양한 디지털 매체를 활용한 작업을 선보이고 있다. 자연과 인간, 기술과 사회, 현재와 미래의 관계성을 탐구한다. 2018년과 2019년, 영화 트레일러 형식이자 총 3부작인 기요미 고바야시 시리즈로 이름을 알렸다. 이후 자연과 죽음,노동 문제 등을 탐구하는 총 5편의 단편영화를 차례로 발표하면서 관계성에 대한 통찰과 기묘하면서도 유머러스한 시퀀스, 완성도 높은 그래픽아트와 CG 기술로 세계적인 관심을 받았다. 최근에는 한국 배우 이민호와 공동으로 작업한 New World, New Meta(2023)을 발표하면서 대중적인 관심을 얻고 있다.
