Pahparn Sirima
Pahparn Sirima is a gallery director, curator, and photographers who works at the core of the Thai pho-tography scene. While she employs essentially clas-sical styles of a creative process, also reflected in her photography, the performance she engages in as an extension of her work is considered modern. To-day, her primary engagement involves an art media and collaborative agency, GroundControl, which she founded. In addition, she works in a wide range of fields taking on an intermediary role with different titles. She is also the founder and creative director of HOP – Hub of Photography, a space specifically dedicated to photography that functions as an art gallery, bookstore, and exhibition area. She is also a board member of the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand committee.
태국 사진씬 코어에서 활동하는 공간 디렉터, 큐레이터이자 사진작가. 그녀의 작업은 과정과 결과물에서 아주 클래식한 문법을 따르지만, 확장해나가는 퍼포 먼스는 매우 현대적이다. 현재 협력 에이전시 (Collaborative Agency) 이자 아트미디어인 자회사 GroundControl에서 초점을 맞춰 주력적으로 활동하고 있다. 사진 전문 공간으로, 서점과 전시 공간을 갖춘 ‘HOP - Hup Of Photography’의 크리에이티브 디렉터이자 설립자며, 태국 왕립 사진 협회의 위원이기도 하다. 자기 개인 작업 외에 중개자 역할을 수행하며 광범위 한 범위에서 활동한다.
